Sometimes I wish I didn't exist as a person. Then I could just watch he world as a spectator, and not as a participant. The I wouldn't have to worry about the teenage population I am a part of. Then I wouldn't have crap to say about anyone, or crap to do to anyone. I mean, I wouldn't exist. I'd make things so much easier about now. That or I wish I could withdraw from everyone, go away for a really long time so my friends would forget what a crappy person I was and move on with their lives. If I can call anyone a friend anymore after how I've treated people. I just wanna get out of here and the messes I've made.

Well, my birthday is tomorrow. Right now it feels like grandma's death is really sinking in. I mean, thins may sound stupid, but she never, ever forgot my birthday. Ever. Every year I would get a card. No matter how forgetful she was, I'd always have that little momento. She'd tell me she loved me and send me a few dollars. Little did I know that such a little thing would be making me break down about now. I mean, I know she was ready to die. She was ready. She had no fears about it, and she knew she wasn't getting better. She doesn't have to go through any of that hell known as the hospital anymore. Never again will she have to take that medicine she hated, and never again will she have to be fed with an IV. She's better now. As I right this I bet she's up there watching me crying, cussing me out and telling me to stop it. That's Rosie for ya. I guess this whole death thing will take a while for me to get over. Right now I can remember the funeral and I kinda regret not getting up to say anything. There's probably a million things I could've said, but I didn't. But, what's done is done.

Grandma, I love you, and I'll miss your birthday cards. I know you'll watch over me and protect me while I'm here without you. Wait for me up there!

Adventures in Bra Shopping
(If you are of the XY gender, and prefer not to further read this, feel free.)

Ah yes. The wonders of bra shopping with your mother. How is it that mothers feel absolutely NO shame? Right, well we went to Walmart, and went to the bra section. So far, so good. Then my mom tells me I must try them on. I go up to the dressing room lady, and get my number card. As I walk into the room, my mom yells behind me, "Alyssa, tell me when you get it on!"

My head sinks in shame and I walk into the dressing room. As soon as I finish, I put my sweatshirt on and open the door for my mother. She walks in and begins to ask me how the bras feel. I tell her which ones work, and then she opens the door. Just WIDE open. Honestly. Me not wanting myself exposed to the Walmart shoppers, I take my sweatshirt (what would I do without it?) and cover up. My mom procedes to shut the door with a disapproving look, and starts talking to the saleswoman. As I change again, I hear exactly what they're talking about. MY personal business! The Walmart lady doesn't need to know what kinds of bras I wear, and what size we're looking at. Honestly.

I muster up about as much coruage as I can, and walk out of the room. Bra in hand. Someone from school walks by. I am mortified. I don't know who they are, but I recognize them. I think they recognize me too. I hand my mom the merchandise and walk away to go find my dad.

Menatal note to self...Don't go bra shopping with mommy again until I get over the whole modesty thing.

And who knew going from a B to a C involves not only and inch in the bust, but in inch on the srtaps and back. Jeeze. I'm not an old woman with saggy boobs yet. I don't need that much more support...

Eh, so maybe she didn't live much longer. I was accually gonna update this -gasp- before I left, but i changed my mind. I wasn't in a particularly good mood. lol.

Right, so we had our first academic team competition yesterday. It was really fun, but nervewrecking at the same time. We (Devon, Cameron, Brad, and I) kicked some butt in the first 5 rounds, but after Brad left and we had to play another round, we just couldn't hold our own. Arg. Well, it's all good, cause none of the other teams did well in that round. Poor team 3 had to play those ninja kids again. So yeah. Loss for the little ones.

Last night I went to Spill the Beans (and Walmart!) with Chelsea, Marisa, and Cameron. Man were we hyper. Stupid ice cream made us go on a sugar high. At Walmart, I won a watch in the Arcade! I gave it to Cameron though since it was a guy's watch. It was wayyyyyy too big for him. lol. I doubt he'll ever wear it since it is.

Yeah, well on Friday in RAP, we had some free time. So someone gets on this website. Lo and behold, it is a slogan generator. But not just any slogan generator...a generator that inserts a word (or phrase) of your choice into the slogan.

Well, today I felt compelled (compelled, I LOVE that word!) to post. I guess it's cause I feel a bit depressed. I suppose if you have read any of this in the past few weeks, you know that my grandma is sick. Well, she's gotten sufficently worse, and they don't expect her to live much longer. So anyways, now my mom will be leaving as soon as they tell her, and the rest of my family will leave for the funeral, assuming there is one. But they seem pretty sure she isn't gonna make it.

God, this is so weird writing that. No one's died that's been remotely close to me and my family. The whole dying thing hasn't sunk in quite yet. I don't even know if it will. And at the funeral there will be massive amounts of crying, and I will probably cry from everyone else crying. I don't know.

To make matters worse, I found out today that my neighborhood, along with Asheton Springs, Ashton Lakes, Orchard Farms, Kingsbridge, Roper Meadows, and Kilgore Plantation all got rezoned for schools. That means I have to go to J.L. Mann. Well, maybe. They aren't sending us there until 2007, which will be my junior year. They might not send us then, being it's our junior year and all. But, my sister will have to go to Beck for middle school, and Mann for HS. That kinda sucks for her (and me if I have to go later on.)

And on an even more different note, I am becoming obsessed over a guy. Well, maybe not obsessed, but I really, really like him. It's driving my NUTS! I swear. This whole hormone thing will be the death of me one day. If anyone knows a surefire way to get your mind off someone, PLEASE tell me. I beg of you!

I figured since I added some stuff to the side, I'd add a post. lol. I don't ever have anything interesting to say.

Let's see...since Christmas I went to Pennsylvania. It was kinda boring. Since we only stayed for three days we didn't do very much.

School started back, and we had midterms. On my math I got a 100 (a freakin miracle!) and on my spanish I got another 100 (another miracle!). I guess studying helps! lol.

This week I get to go to spartanburg for academic team, for battle of the brains. that sounds soooooo nerdy. lol. I hope we win though, cause it's single elimination. But we're really, really good. Although I'm not sure who "we" are yet. For the team, we can only have 3 compete, but there are 6 of us who can do it. I think it's going to be me, Brad, and either Cameron or Eric. We all kinda have our own strengths we're playing off of. But if you read this, and I am all snappy and nervous on Tuesday, that's why.

After that, on Saturday, I get to go skiing for girl scouts! Yay! I'll post more on that when I come back...lol. See how much I'm yaying then...

The week after that my parents will be away, so I'll be here with my sister after school, and our neighbor is staying with us over the nights.

The next weekend, I'm going to Charleston for another Academic Team Competiton. Now that's going to be fun as hell! I can't wait. More on that when I come back too...

Let's see, my last post was roughly a week ago when I was extremely upset. Now I am extrememly better.

I'll start with Christmas. I love Christmas. It's when my family is happy, I'm happy, practically the whole world is happy. I got some decent stuff. I got some PJs, some clothes, a few CDs, a chair(for watching TV), A PS2 game (DDRMax), a PS2 accessories pack, a calligraphy pack/instruction book, a squishy pillow, slippers, random make-up objects, socks, more socks, candy, and a ring that my mom has to return because it's the wrong zodiac sign. lol.

Now after Christmas! The day after Christmas I went bowling. Like last year. Yay! The first game went fine and then we all started getting really restless and stupid. Mike just had to send the ball down the gutter, and I couldn't stand on the middle part to walk and get it. So then I walked down the actual lane and the dude who worked there came and yelled at me and I thought we were in trouble but he just told me to wipe my shoes off. Though it was really embarassing cause like everyone in the bowling alley turned and looked at me. lol. So then I was out of it until we got in the car going home. And then I went home and tought my dad how to play PS2. He cought on quite quickly really. He only played cause my sister and I got him a golf game for Christmas. hehe. I played that game again with him last night too.

Today I've not really done anything exciting. We've just been cleaning since we're going away tomorrow. My mom always makes us clean the house before we go away. I just don't get it. We have to leave my poor dog alone, so she's probably gonna get sick from being lonely. She did that like twice. And if it thunders she's probably going to have another bout of doggie epilepsy. Which really sucks.

I so hope it snows sometime while we're in Pennsylvania. When we're there I will be studying dilligently for midterms since it often gets boring. lol. See you all (all who read this that is) when I come back home! (which will probably be Monday since we're returning late Sunday.)

Today I am oddly depressed, so I figured I might as well post. First things first. Having someone in your family die is one thing, but knowing someone in your family is dying and won't live more than a year is another. My grandma got hepatitis c from a blood transfusion and it's attacking her liver. When I see her in about a week or so it'll probably be the last time I see her. It's just so scary. And upsetting. But yeah. And I'm also upset because I was stupid last year and screwed with the trust people had in me...and now it's coming back to bite me in the ass. So I'm depressed and stressed. Don't fuck with me now.

Well, after reading how hard Robert is working to make his blog better, I feel semi inspired. Not really, but I've been meaning to update. Sorry about the images that are below this post, but they're from CoCi, and I didn't need them anyways. Anywho, I'm gonna be much busier. Beta Club started back up yesterday, and I am running for secretary. I hope I win, cause I wanna be involved in Beta Club a lot more than I was last year. I'm already treasurer for Sandlapper, bet I can handle two jobs. The treasurer one won't be hard at all. Next Thursday is the infamous Womanless Beauty Pageant. If you don't go to MMS (If you're reading this you probably do!), the Womanless Beauty Pageant is when boys dress up as girls and strut down the makeshift catwalk. It was quite funny last year, and it should greatly help our trip to NYC. Yeah...the academic team competion got cancelled for this weekend. That's stupid. I really wanted to go to that cause a lot of my friends are on there. The only good part is now I dun have to get up at 5 AM on Saturday. :-)

Darn it! I just realized I had a math quiz tomorrow...though Cameron reminded me about it when I talked to him...wow I have a short memory span. I really like Geometry in comparison to algebra. And since I want to be an aerospace engineer when I grow up, geometry will probably be helpful. Cameron now thinks that would be a cool job too. He marked that on his PSAT like I did, I feel special!

Hmm...well after that short update on my life (as if ya'll cared) I don't know what else to write. Oh yeah, there's a dance next week. Yippee! I love dances! Maybe I'll accually get to dance with someone this time...I'm not picky! -_^

Yeah walnut grove was fun... Anyways, tonight my girl scout troop went to enoree where there is a corn maze...and it was so scary. I strted crying and I nearly had a nervous breakdown. and it wasn't even supposed to be that scary, but it was a lot like a dream I had last night that made it so scary. yeah.

Well. I haven't updated on here in forever. Life's just a load of monotony right about now. lol. I got into Sandlapper Club and we have a field trip to Walnut Grove tomorrow. Hopefully it will be fun. Who knows though. I'll probably ignore the whole educational aspect of it and talk to people all day. Then I'll come home and work onone of my 3 projects. Fun-fun. Robert gave me a CD today! YAY Robert! lol. I'll listen to it soon. Right now I'm kinda tired since I've been babysitting a lot lately. Not saying that's a bad thing though since I get paid plenty for it. hehe. And I got to color. I forgot how much I miss coloring in coloring books. That was practically my favorite thing to do when I was small. The only difference is now I stay inside the lines and my pictures look pretty. I should probably go to bed soon since I gotta get u around 8:45. We gotta pick Lappy up at a quarter til 10 so I need to get ready by then...

Tonight was the first dance of the year. I feel like a loser because I couldn't work up the friggen nerve to ask someone to dance with me. I'm hopeless. lol. The rest of it was really fun. I'm going to use Robert's idea now...

Rap songs are fun to dance to. Therapy doesn't work. I'm going to NYC baby! Hand sanitizer makes me sick. High fives hurt. Being tickled makes me laugh to much. I laugh too much anyways. I sould like a blonde in newspaper articles. I can't roll my r's en espanol. I like to sing. I like reading trash magizines. ***** is a garden tool. Cow tails are good. I think too many people are cute. I like someone I shouldn't. Mrs. Griffith is cool. I need to get Avril Lavigne's CD. I also need to get Something Like Human. And possibly a CD burner so I can get other songs. Bob Marley is good brain stimulation. I gag when I'm nervous. I also get cold. I should be practicing piano. I want to play bass instead of piano. I'm 13 1/2 today!

Well, I liked that. I shall imitate robert and do it again sometime...

Yes, today was the first day of school. It was pretty neat, all the new stuff, though it was the same old routine. My homeroom teacher is boring...but everyone else is pretty cool. Tomorrow I get to meet my new band director. Though no one will top Mr. Scheuch...I want to give Mr. Kilgus. More about my new teachers in a few days...when they really show who they are! :-)

5th Period/Lifeskills MWF first semester: Mrs. Winters? w/ Chelsea

I'm so scared. Hurricane Charley is hitting Florida...right where I lived. All our friends and neighbors could be seriously hurt. The houses can be destroyed too. God K'm so glad we decided not to stay there. I haven't seen any of my old friends since I was 7 though. God I wonder what they look like... Oh well. Everyone who's down there...I love you all and I hope you're OK! Especially Dale and Pam.
